Lindsey is an architectural historian and planner with 15 years of professional experience working at the intersection of historic preservation, cultural resources, grant management, and community development. She is an expert in reviewing and evaluating compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and local processes for issuing certificates of appropriateness. She collaborates frequently with federal, state, and local preservation and community development officials and partners, including State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), and local historic preservation commissions. Lindsey exceeds the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards for Architectural History.
