Tisha Allen

Sr. Cultural Heritage Planner

Tisha is a cultural heritage planner with a masters in historic preservation and background in architecture. She spent much of her career focused on place-based and comprehensive planning initiatives. For the past six years, she worked to design and implement technical assistance opportunities and grant programs in support of community development practitioners across the country and their comprehensive community development efforts. Tisha is no stranger to managing federal and local projects ranging from historic tax credit projects to historic structures reports. Tisha’s years of professional experience and academic training have equipped her with an extensive toolkit for forging productive relationships with community stakeholders, as well as managing and implementing a broad range of preservation strategies. Her skill sets include project management, research and documentation, design review, and community engagement. Tisha exceeds the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards for Historic Architecture.
