106 Group assisted the Nez Perce Tribe in the development of a Tourism Feasibility Study that will ultimately foster economic growth and drive community well-being. We collaborated with tribal staff, community members, and key stakeholders to effectively guide tourism planning efforts. The goal of the study was to provide evidence that a tourism program is feasible and to make recommendations for tourism program initiatives and next steps.
Scope
Through a collaborative and flexible process, the study builds upon community priorities, existing ideas and opportunities, and sustainable approaches. The resulting concept works in unison to accomplish the larger vision of building a strong foundation for the Nez Perce Tribe’s future tourism program.
Outcome
The feasibility study serves as a roadmap for the Nez Perce Tribe, furthering marketing, interpretive, and tourism-related initiatives forward along a cohesive and clear path with a mission and vision that reflect community values and needs.
